Sunday Morning we went to Pacific Baptist Church in Long Beach California. Long Beach was right along the coast so we took a sightseeing drive along Pacific coast Highway. Luckily it is not fully summer here so there were not a lot of people out yet.
We stopped at Crystal Cove State Park and enjoyed the beach and wildlife. I want to see the seal or whale’s migrating north in the worst way but it may be just a tad to late, maybe if we can get up north quickly by the end of the month we can see them in Washington. I am not much of a beach person but the scenery was beautiful. I took lots of pictures for my sister because I know she would enjoy them. We are off again to Walmart for supplies. My mother in law would enjoy the plants and trees as much as I have, I would love to have the growing season that they have here.. Ed and Dani there are sushi places on every corner, since I don’t eat that I can’t tell you if it’s any good. Since I love Mexican Randy got us some authentic Mexican food to try. The Nachos had real steak on them and The tortilla chips were kind of sweet, they were my favorite. The Taco, was ok but had to much lettuce. The Burrito was steak with onion and green peppers and was very bland. So, I would say my version of Mexican is better than theirs, But perhaps we can try a little more before we head north. We went back to Pacific Baptist church on Sunday night and got to know the people much better. We arrived late because of a time change confusion, but we given seats by some gracious members. After getting to hear an excellent and practical sermon we were greeted by no less than 20 members and we were given a gift of 100.00 by the church and one member gave us tickets that made it possible for us to get a second day at Disney free, for all of us. A further blessing was that Randy
wanted to see a real LAPD Badge and as we were leaving the Church parking lot we were greeted by another church member who just so happened to be a LAPD Police officer, complete with a LAPD Badge that he let us hold and take pictures of. The Church was a real blessing and if we are ever in the area again we would attend . Its Sunday night and we are off to Anaheim CA to park in the Walmart parking lot so we can do Disney tomorrow Morning.
